High altitude makes for rough racing conditions. FBM manages to adjust our tune-up in time to pull off another victory. |
|
FBM Racing hit the road again for two more races in the heat of the old west. The first stop was Denver. As usual,
the high-elevation race was a tough tuning exercise for everyone and there was more than enough breakage and disappointment to go around.
Though our times were nothing to brag about, sometimes surviving round to round is just what is needed, and Chris Streeter was the last
one left standing in Pro Fuel. FBM Racing was all smiles at the end of a tough weekend as the effort paid off with another mark in the
win column and a widening lead in the national points race.

Special thanks this race goes to John Harris of Harris Mold and Die. John has done machining for FBM Racing over the
years and has really stepped up to the plate this year with a lot of good quality work. He has taken the bite out of some of our tune-up
experiments by straightening everything from rods to jack shafts, and has even come down to the shop especially for some 2:00 AM work on
our cylinders. Every drag racer knows how valuable it is to have friends and sponsors like John, and FBM Racing looks forward to working
with Harris Mold and Die for years to come.
