FBM Racing Team

Florida Bike Week Nationals

Gainesville Raceway
Gainesville, Florida
March 5th and 6th, 2005

The FBM Racing Team is back in action in Florida for the season kick-off under sunny skys with a good turn out of fans and race teams. Right out of the trailer the teams preps the bike and heads to the starting line. Missing round 1 of qualifications the pressure is on to perform well and get into the eliminations Sunday. The motor has been broken in while in the pits after a fresh rebuild with several new improvements. Chris Streeter pushes the machine hard and is ready for action. When the tree lights the rider and bike both deliver. We brake our old top speed and elapsed time records and join the 200 MPH club with a 200.84 MPH in 6.707 seconds. What a way to start the season!
On Sunday we were once again "ready-to-rock" and take on the competition. Our 3rd place qualification put us up against some tough competitors. 1st round we were matched up against Sam White on the Hooter's Bike. Chris's reaction time and the performance of the bike gave us a victory and we moved on the round 2. 2nd round we raced Jay Turner who has been able to rack up impressive times and dealt us defeats in the past. In the end we beat him and moved to the finals. 3rd round paired us up against the tough and fast Mike Leman. Mike had set a MPH record that weekend and was running strong. In the end, Chris Streeter's riding skills with and the good performance of the motorcycle gave a big WIN for the event!
The team is inspired to "never give up" and refuses to be outdone by any other team in the AHDRA.

Amidst adverse conditions, the FBM Racing Team earns a victorious racing competition.
