FBM Racing Team

Joker Machine Indy Nationals
Indianapolis, Indiana

September 11th and 12th, 2004

The FBM Racing Team is back to work drag racing after 5 months of intense work rebuilding the motorcycle from the ground up. We came to the track not knowing if our machine would make a pass with all the new modifications. The bike now has a new PRP Motor, wider drive belt, dual throttle system, a beefed up clutch. Right out of the trailer the motorcycle ran strong and straight. Each pass Chris rode the bike went faster and the ET dropped.
We had the pleasure of sharing our pits with a long time friend and fellow Pro-Fuel drag racer Jimmy Srnak. Jim has been fighting health problems but was feeling well enough to get out and race. Without a crew of his own at trhe track, FBM pitched in and helped out to get his bike going and ready to race.

Good luck overcoming your illness Jimmy!

Along for the trip was another friend who had been a big help in the shop before the season and during the long nights and weekends overhauling the bike. Billy Schumaucker had helped Chris with the new paint job early on in the season. Later Billy came to shop and contributed with many details that would have been an extra burdon for the team, Our new belt guard and body work looks great and function well because of Billy's efforts.
