Wet and soggy afternoon puts a damper on racing at Norwalk. Many teams decide to leave. FBM Team waits out the weather and goes to the finals once again. |
|
Norwalk was an exciting race this year for both FBM Racing and the entire Pro-Fuel class. Chris Streeter ran
some of the best times of his career, taking Number Two Qualifier and Runner-Up honors in front of the hometown crowd and lots of
our friends from the Cleveland area. Meanwhile, Mark Conner shattered both the Pro Fuel ET and MPH records, with a stellar
performance all weekend long. Congratulations to Mark and to RMC racing on their new World Records. Despite a long rain delay,
Craig Tharpe and the AHDRA staff stuck it out in order to allow the race to finish. Thanks to Craig and his crew for their dedication
to the sport and to the racers.

Special thanks for our hometown race goes to Frank Andrus of
Clone Machine and Cycle in New London, Ohio. Frank has been a good friend to Chris and Mike for
many years, and has provided invaluable machining and advice. Frank and Clone Machine have been crucial to the development of the FBM
Racing team, and it is fair to say that this bike and this race program would simply not be where it is today without Frank's knowledge,
skill and innovation. Frank's quality machining from race bikes to show bikes to antiques is something that every Harley enthusiast
should know about. Browse to www.clonecycle.com to see some of Frank's handy-work. Whether
high-performance parts, custom handlebars or remanufactured antique parts, chances are Frank has something that you are looking for.
