FBM Racing Team

Arizona Bike Week Nationals

Firebird International Raceway
Phoenix, Arizona
April 2nd and 3rd, 2005

It was a long hard ride out west to Phoenix in the old school bus with the usual stops for repairs along the way. The trip pays off big as FBM Racing Team is quickly becoming a National Contender as we win the second race of the 2005 season. Number 1 qualifying and winning the race puts us at the top of the national points list. Mike Lehman continues to lead in the east with a 2 point advantage.
Chris Streeter rides the bike hard as the track causes many racers to loose grip while bikes get squirly at the starting line. The motorcycle made passes in the 6's except for one pass after first installing the new air horn.
The extra intake air had us changing the tune up to adapt. Once dialed in, the bike was able to repeat its performance giving us a chance to make minor changes.
Going to the finals we were paired up with 2003 rooky Scooter Rajowski. Scooter has built a racing machine that is awe inspiring. When he gets more familiar with the new bike look out! Congrats to Scooter for making it to the finals on his first time out with the new bike in competition and his first race since the 2003 racing season.
We are looking forward to seeing our friends Dawn and Randy at our next race in Dallas. FBM is on a roll and looking ahead for giving it everything we got to be the National Champions of the Pro Fuel Class once again in 2005.
