Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Nationals Rockingham, North Carolina, October 4th and 5th, 2003
Chris Streeter keeps the Nitro-Harley motor roaring down the track as the FBM Team makes 3 consistent passes Saturday in the 7.0's. Sunday we pushed our machine a little harder and shot down the 1/4 mile with a 6.90 at 190 MPH during test and tune. We advanced through elimination to the Semi-Finals but our old nemesis, the broken belt, gets us again.
FBM secures 1st place in the national points race making Chris Streeter #1 in the Nation. Points are being counted closely. The FBM team may have lost Eastern Title by 1 point to Sam White. Broken Belt stops our progression through the elimination rounds on Sunday. Motor is in good shape as we prepare for the long ride out west for the final race in Las Vegas.
