Mid-West Nationals Gateway International Raceway Madison, Illinois September 3rd and 4th, 2005

FBM is back in the groove with our bus and trailer at the track. The guys from Bad Apple Racing got a little relief from the crowding in their pits when we unloaded our bike and equipment and set up in our own pits. Tracy Kile and his team as well as other racers that shared the travel cost to Oregon were a great bunch of guys to hang with.    The FBM Team works late into the night on Saturday repairing the engine once again. It pays off big time by getting our times back in the 6's. The bike runs good and Chris rides to the finish line as we move through eliminations to the finals. Being runner up in the finals gives us a further spread over Mike Lehman for the National points.    We are looking forward to some time off before heading to Rockingham, North Carolina. With a little luck and plenty of hard work, FBM can clinch the National Championship at our next race. We can never count Mike out though. He's a great rider with a fast bike as well as a great sportsman and competitor.
